Cape Howe Cottages are all fully equipped, spacious, tastefully decorated with quality furnishings and polished timber or tiled floors throughout.

Comfortable beds with crisp linen, pillows, snugly quilts, blankets and fluffy bath towels are provided.

There's a TV/Video, DVD & CD Player along with a selection of games, cards, jigsaws, books and magazines to keep you entertained.

All cottages are well spread out over two adjacent 23 hectare bush properties and a nearby 100 acre bush & pastureland all with private driveway access which guarantees total privacy and no noisy neighbours.

Kings Den (photos on right) has the WOW factor. It is a huge luxury retreat just for adults (85sqm). There is a king bed on a timber platform, 2 person spa bath, outdoor shower in a private courtyard (and an indoor shower too), lounge/dining area and a stunning kitchen. Kings Den is nestled amongst the trees - a perfect and totally private romantic getaway.

The Wardroom (photos left) is a brand new luxury retreat for couples or friends sharing. Hidden away amid pristine bushland with spectacular 180o views of the southern ocean, West Cape Howe National Park, coastal reserves and verdant farmlands.

The cottage comprises two massive bedrooms both with King size beds (or one can be configured into 2 king single beds if preferred), a stunning bathroom tiled in Italian stone with a 2 person spa and huge rain shower. A total floorspace of 180sqm. The kitchen is a chef's delight with jarrah benchtops, stainless steel appliances including a dishwasher. A BBQ on the wrap around outdoor deck completes the picture for a truly memorable holiday.

(Why "The Wardroom"??? It's the officer's mess on board a ship. It provides a place of recreation as well as being a dining room. Wardrooms have rules governing etiquette: traditionally considered taboo is talking about politics, religion and professional business. It is also considered inappropriate to perform work or to meet with subordinates in a wardroom. It's a place to relax.

The well equipped kitchens in every cottage have all appliances - stove, microwave, full size fridge, toaster, kettle, crockery, cutlery, glassware and every cooking utensil imaginable - even a wok and picnic set.

All cottages have their own washing machine, private BBQ, hairdryer and a wood heater (except the Wardroom) for those chilly winter nights with plenty of wood supplied too. Kings Den, The Wardroom & Cakes n Ale cottages also have reverse cycle airconditioning for perfect climate control.

Cakes 'n' Ale Cottage (photos right) is ideal for sharing with friends and is perched high with views over tree tops towards the coastal reserve.

It is a large 2 bedroom cottage (102sqm), well equipped with deluxe furnishings and polished timber floors. There is a king size bed in one bedroom & 2 king singles in the other which can be configured to suit 2 couples making an economical weekend escape. It has a gourmet kitchen with dishwasher and large bright living area leading to a deck where you can enjoy a BBQ with the birds or do some serious star gazing.

(Why "Cakes 'n' Ale"??? It's an olde English saying thought to have been first used by Shakespeare. It means pleasure, comfort & prosperity. What more could you ask for?)

All cottages have clean modern bathrooms with bath & shower. Kings Den and The Wardroom both have 2 person spa baths for extra relaxing.

The Snug (photos left) oozes old world charm reminiscent of your Grandmother's house. It is spacious (80sqm) with 2 bedrooms and fully equipped with quality furnishings and polished timber floors. There is a queen bed in one bedroom and 2 singles in the other and a country style kitchen with jarrah table and old fashioned kitchenette dresser.

The verandah is just perfect for watching the sun set or enjoying a BBQ.

The Snug is set within it's own 1/2 acre of gardens and lawn surrounding the cottage - great for kicking a football or a spot of cricket, fully fenced for children's safety (and to keep the kangaroos from eating the garden plants!!)

Well behaved dogs are welcome by arrangement at The Snug with an onsite hydrobath service available - please click here to download our "Pets on Holiday Policy"
